Annual Phon-a-thon/Mail-a-thon

At the time of this posting we are planning a phone-a-thon in January.  Should pandemic conditions prevnt this we will shift to a mail-a-thon format.  The residents of the Lake George community can expect a phone call, letter and/or post card in January.  We surpassed our expectation for last year's drive with over $13,000 in contributions received. Help us break the record in 2021!

Special thanks to Iggy Rovetto at Pizza Jerks for generously supporting LGSA and feeding our Phonathon volunteers for so many years.  Although we took a pause from sharing these great pies in 2021 we are grateful for this ongoing support and hope to serve our students again in January.

Helping Lake George High School Students Pursue a Higher Education

LGSA was chartered in 1952 by a dedicated group of local citizens. The Association is managed by a Board of Directors representative of the Lake George community. Since 1953, over 933 students have received scholarships totaling nearly $921,650. Due to the generosity of our donors, 543 awards have been made since 1995, averaging $988 each.

LGSA Mission Statement: To raise funds that will provide for scholarships to graduates of Lake George High School pursuing a higher education. The Board of Directors selects recipients each year based on merit, financial need and community service.
